Partner & Registered Auditor
One of the firm’s founding partners, Dirk Wouters has 30 years of professional experience.
He began his career at Ernst & Young, became a registered auditor in 1991 and obtained his qualification as a certified public accountant in 1997. In addition to a first degree in applied economics, Dirk holds a master’s degree in accountancy and a master’s in tax law from the Fiscale Hogeschool, Brussels.
In addition to his auditing assignments, he has extensive experience of advising small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) on a wide variety of matters including company acquisition and restructuring.
Partner & Registered Auditor
A co-founder of the firm, Joris Van Merode has 24 years of professional experience.
He trained with Deloitte & Touche, becoming a registered auditor in 1996 and qualifying as a certified public accountant in 2001. As well as a first degree in applied economics from the University of Antwerp, Joris holds a master’s degree in accountancy and taxation.
In addition to his work as a statutory auditor for a wide range of clients, Joris provides personal advice and professional support to small and medium-sized enterprises throughout the company life-cycle.
